Hello! I'm Ankur Gakhar, originally from India. With a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, I have accumulated over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. My professional journey has taken me across the globe, allowing me to work with diverse teams and contribute to significant projects in the telecom sector.

Throughout my university years, I also had the privilege of tutoring both my peers and younger students. My passion led me to Canada, where I discovered the International Baccalaureate (IB) program—a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, global awareness, and academic excellence.

I wanted my daughter to prepare for IB program and realized math prep options are limited, inconsistent, and lack true dedication. Motivated by its principles, I successfully tutored my own daughter, guiding her through the IB entrance process and celebrating her acceptance into the program.

At Exponent Math Academy, I specialize in teaching mathematics to students in grades 7, 8, and 9, with a dedicated focus on preparing them for the challenges of IB math exams.
